Exciting News: We have rebranded to 182 Classic Motors!
After over 25 years of hard work and growth, we are proud to announce that 181 Classic Motors is officially rebranding to 182 Classic Motors!
Our journey began on a farm, where we focused on restorations and repairs. As demand grew, we moved into a larger unit in Newark, and eventually, the need for more space led us to expand into the next-door unit. This is where the concept of 182 Classic Motors was born – 181 for restorations and 182 for servicing and repairs.
However, over time, the shift in the industry and rising costs of parts and restoration work have led us to focus more on servicing and repairs rather than restorations. It’s become clear that restorations are no longer as affordable. While we have loved breathing new life into classic vehicles, full restorations are becoming a less sustainable option for us.
As a small but dedicated team, rebranding to 182 Classic Motors entails a significant amount of work behind the scenes. We have been planning this for a while, but it’s no small task! It involves updating our uniforms, website, emails, and, not to mention, changing all of our details with our suppliers. It’s been a big job, but we are excited about the future and are grateful for your continued support.
As our business has grown and we have expanded to four units in Sutton-on-Trent, it’s become clear that consolidating under one brand will allow us to continue delivering the best service possible.
So, from now on, 182 Classic Motors will be our sole brand moving forward. We are excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to continue providing high-quality servicing and repairs to keep your classic vehicles in top shape.
